The 'Strictly' stars come out

The BBC is slowly releasing the names of this year's celebrities who have agreed to take part in the contest.

MOLLIE KING - singer with the girl band The Saturdays.
DAVOOD GHADAMI - actor who plays Kush Kazemi in EastEnders .
GEMMA ATKINSON - actor from Channel 4's Hollyoaks and BBC TV's Casualty currently appearing in ITV's Emmerdale
RUTH LANGSFORD - presenter and broadcaster. One of the hosts of ITV's This Morning and a regular panellist on Loose Women.
Reverend RICHARD COLES - writer and broadcaster. Richard was originally in the band The Communards and has been the presenter of The Big Painting Challenge on BBC TV and has appeared many times as a panellist on Have I Got News For You and QI . He is currently the vicar of St Mary's Church in Northamptonshire.
JOE McFADDEN - actor in BBC TV Holby City
SIMON RIMMER - Celebrity Chef and presenter of Channel 4's ' Sunday Brunch '

ASTON MERRYGOLD - Singer and songwriter from former pop group JLS

More stars will be announced in the coming weeks.
Strictly Come Dancing is launching on BBC One on (or around) Saturday September 9 but this has yet to be confirmed.

Researchers measured the association between leisure and physical activities and the likelihood of developing dementia over time. They found that dancing was the only physical activity associated with a lower risk of dementia.
