More stars to don the sequins for 2017

The latest celebrities announced to take part in this years contest include:

CHARLOTTE HAWKINS - Presenter, Newsreader and Co-host of ITV's Good Morning Britain . Following in the footsteps (or should that be dance steps) of fellow GMB presenters, Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway.

BRIAN CONLEY - Performer, Singer, Actor and Comedian. Brian has appeared in his own ITV show where he made famous his catchphrase, "Its just a puppet" . He has appeared in many stage musicals such as Oliver , Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Me and My Girl . He is an accomplished singer and has made guest appearences on many TV shows.

SUSAN CALMAN - Stand-Up Scottish Comedian and Presenter. Susan has appeared on many TV quiz shows and also BBC radio shows, Sorry I Haven't A Clue , and The News Quiz .

DEBBIE McGEE - Dancer and wife of the late Paul Daniels,magician. Debbie, 58 says that she wants to do the show in honour of her late husband Paul who appeared on the show in 2010.

The BBC have confirmed the professional dancers returning to the dance floor once again are male dancers, Anton Du Beke, Brendan Cole, Kevin Clifton, Neil Jones, Pasha Kovalev, Gorka Marquez, Giovanni Pernice, AJ Pritchard and Aljaz Skorjanec, plus female dancers Karen Clifton, Chloe Hewitt, Katya Jones, Oti Mabuse and Janette Manrara. This year's line up includes three new ladies: Dianne Buswell from Australia, Nadiya Bychkova from Ukraine and Amy Dowden from Wales.

The launch show will be recorded at BBC Elstree Studios on Tuesday 5th September for later transmission. The broadcast dates have not yet been announced.
